Hamilton Hall - Liverpool St Station

Hamilton Hall, Liverpool St. Station, EC2 - originally built in 1901 as the ballroom of the Great Eastern Hotel. It was closed when was broke out in 1939 and remained closed until being re-opened by Wetherspoons, a few years ago. The pub is sumptuously decorated with plaster nudes, garlands and cornucopias, palatial mirrors, paintings and chandeliers.

Or alternatively, end up in the Cafe Select bar which is also in the station, and guzzle a Diamond White, nice one pirate!

Take tube to Moorgate using either Metropolitan, Circle or Hammersmith & City lines, change at Moorgate and take Northern line to Angel, two stops. On leaving Angel tube station, cross road and walk up White Lion St. past All Bar One.
